Rihanna's family is still not believing the 20-year-old has become a famous singer. Her relatives are said to be struggling to comprehend her fame because they rarely see her. "It's been a long time since I saw my family because I have been so busy," the Barbadian hottie said. "They can't believe it's me that's travelling all over the world. They still see me as the little teenage girl who hated school and was always hanging out in town."

Rihanna Makes People's Best Dressed List

Rihanna has recently been named by People magazine on the Best Dressed Stars of 2008. The Barbadian beauty was selected for her "sugar and spice" style and her "sophisticated mix of glamorous gowns and funky dresses". Her hairstyle was also said to help secure her spot on the list.
Also making the list were Kate Hudson, Charlize Theron, Eva Mendes, Heidi Klum, Stacy Ferguson, Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Palthrow and Sarah Jessica Parker. First lady hopeful Michelle Obama was also named on the list because because she "wowed along the campaign trial with confidence in polished looks".
"Classic or rebel, girl-next-door or vamp, each of these women made all the right fashion moves this year," People mag said of its choices. "If someone did not make the list, that doesn't mean they are badly dressed," Elizabeth Sporkin, People's executive editor, explained. "We only have room for 10."

Rihanna Drank at Early Age

In a recent interview with Britain's The Mail, Rihanna opened up about her past. The Barbadian singer recalled growing up on the island of Barbados, where she began drinking at a fairly early age.
"I'd go out and get drunk, but that's what teenage girls do in Barbados," Rihanna told the tabloid. "The country's pretty laid-back about the legal age for drinking. But I never went too over the top. I wasn't exactly in Amy Winehouse mode. I'd seen what alcohol and drugs had done to my dad and I wasn't going to follow in his footsteps. I knew my limits when I was a kid and I still do."
The 20-year-old hottie then added, "I might have a few drinks, but I don't get tipsy too easily. I don't ever get to the point where I want to throw up, can't stand up straight or say things I'm likely to regret in the morning."

Rihanna Feels Lonely

Rihanna said that popularity has negative effects to her life as she has found her life "on the road of lonely." The 20-year-old Barbadian hottie insisted she often spends her time sitting in hotel rooms alone and even has no time to date.
"It's not all honey and treacle. I've had no more than seven days off in the past 18 months. My schedule is punishing," the "Umbrella" hitmaker said. "And I do get lonely sitting around in hotels in cities I don't know. I don't have time to date."
